Perhaps these mistakes could have been prevented if those responsible had been more concerned about making mistakes in the first place.

Do people have to pay attention to mistakes in order to make progress? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

Understanding the mistakes and dealing with them effectively gives us a plethora of skills. It is true that we are often asked to stop worrying about the mistakes we make and are asked not to dwell on those we have already committed. But understanding the above advice in its true sense, we are meant not to dwell on the result that follows because of our mistakes. It is intrinsically described.

Once we have committed a mistake, then there might be a failure or even melancholy might dawn upon us. The realization for your mistake will achieve its true form only when you can overcome the mistake and move on further.

Analyzing mistakes pertaining to the decisions and actions that made one’s pursuit or a collective work fail would surely help us in making the right decision the next time to some extent. However, we cannot guarantee success every time we think that we have analyzed all our mistakes effectively because, it might depend upon the effort we put in if we are working for our goal individually or it might depend upon a team that works for us. In some situations, we might not even be sure that the new decision made analyzing the past mistakes would be a perfect one rather than landing up as another mistake.

Once a mistake is committed, we are done with that particular pursuit. We will have to confront the consequence, be it a failure or an insult. The idea behind the advice of not to dwell in the mistakes is that you must not be consumed by the consequence; instead, you must gain energy and confidence to brave through and conquer further.

Hence, mistakes can surely be the reasons for our failures but their analysis cannot surely be the guiding light for success. But, they, when analyzed consciously can help us make a better decision. And of course there are well known mistakes offered to students or employees as case studies for improvement of either business or a strategy that would help realize goals. But it depends upon the ability of application of the results that we learn in the precise situations as on when needed.

In a nutshell, what we must learn from mistakes and case studies is how to overcome errors, make flawless decisions from our side and brave through the consequences. The new decision that we make might not surely give us success and can be a mistake but we must not lose our nerve and thirst for success which can be possible only by analyzing the mistakes we commit and trying to rectify them very often. Improving from our mistakes cannot be a single shot act but must be a continuous procedure to shape ourselves into better human beings.
