The SAT test is a standardized test that is taken by college applicants to display their abilities and skills learnt in high school. - Standard Testing Fee

Therefore they are charged the standard registration fee as well as the international processing fee. Students that register for the test in India and Pakistan are further charged an additional testing fee of $24. Therefore they pay all the above mentioned charges. - Chargeable Services
There is a list of services that the College Board provides to test takers at an added cost. Depending on the requirement of the test taker he may choose to avail them at an added cost to his SAT exam fees.
- Scores by Phone
Students may choose to receive their scores by phone if they want to. The test scores are not available over the phone any sooner than the other methods of score reporting. They are available three weeks after the test, around the same time that the online scores are made available to the test takers. If you wish to receive your scores over the phone it will cost you $15 per call.
Test takers may choose to make changes to their test type or location of testing center should they wish to do so. You are required to contact customer services and let them know about the same and this will cost you a fee of $25 additional to your SAT exam fees.
- Standby and Late Registrations
A standby registration would cost the test taker an additional $43. Some testing locations allow test takers to register late. If you have registered after the registration deadline you will be charged $26. Not all locations allow late registrations. - SAT Fee Waivers
If a student wishes to take the SAT test and cannot afford it, the student should get in touch with his education institution or an agent and enquire about SAT exam fee waivers. Also the student should be able to provide proof of extenuating circumstances in order to get a SAT fee waiver. Such waivers are only offered to citizens of the United States of America and it territories irrespective of the location they are testing in. The College Board does not directly provide such fee waivers. The fee waiver includes one free registration, four additional score card reports and either the Student-Answer-Service or Question-Answer Service. Registrations can be online or via mail. You can use your SAT exam fee waiver either by entering the 12 digit code whilst registering online or by filling in the waiver form and sending it via mail. These waivers also have an expiry date.
