The Basics of Different Means of Registration
LSAT is offered four times in a year in the months of February, June, September or October and December at various established test centers across the world. You can register for LSAT scheduled for a particular month (i.e. Feb, June, Oct or Dec) at least one month before. Those who miss the registration deadline can register for LSAT by the late registration method which is available up to three weeks before the test. The late registration comes with a higher fee.

The Basics of Different Means of Registration
You can register for LSAT using three different means, Online, Mail and Telephone. Register for LSAT at the earliest to get the desired test date and test centre. The method for registering for LSAT is an individual's choice and should be carefully selected and properly used.
- Register for LSAT through Online method- Online registration is by far the easiest and fastest means for registering for LSAT. The registration rules for filling up the online application form are available on the website www.lsac.org. Online registration has got several advantages. You have immediate access to information like a test date or test center availability. Any changes in the test center and test dates can be easily done using the online method. Any change made to your profile is immediately updated and you are informed of any updates or changes in the test pattern through your account. You can view your admission ticket online and can take a print out of the same. Online registration gives you access to view your test results online and that too through your e-mail. You have the advantage of viewing your results at least 1-2 weeks before the candidate who has registered by mail.
- Register for LSAT through Mail- Registration through Mail requires you to fill up the prescribed application form available in the registration booklet which can be obtained by mail from LSAC or from schools or colleges offering this service. The application form needs to be filled up properly and needs to be sent back in the return envelope provided along with the required fees. While registering you can select two test centers of your choice, the vacant one will be allotted to you. If both the centers are full, then another center near to you will be allotted.
- Register for LSAT through Telephone- Telephonic registration requires you to fill up the required form before calling up for registration. The representatives are available on call at (215) 968- 1001 on weekdays for your assistance. The timings for telephonic registration are from 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. in the months of September-March and from 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m. in the months of April-August. It is better to avoid calling on Monday as it is the busiest day of the week for the registration officials of LSAT.
Whatever be the means of your registration for LSAT, you cannot withdraw or cancel your registration of a particular regular LSAT and re-register for the same LSAT in the late registration period. No walk-in registrations are allowed on the test day. The information provided in the application form should be correct, in case any changes has to be made it can be done using online, written or telephonic method. If you fail to provide the correct information your result will be withheld. The different types of registration come with a fee which can be paid through checks or money orders or you can use debit or credit cards for the payment.
So, register for LSAT early and start preparing for LSAT to get a good LSAT score.
