How is ISEE Used for Admissions?
The ISEE admissions test results are sent to six different private schools by the ISEE test administration authorities, according to the choice of the students. The schools, which receive these scores, evaluate the suitability of a candidate for admission in their schools, by comparing the ISEE scores obtained by him/her with the ISEE score requirements for admission to their school. The schools have their own overall cut-off percentages and section-wise cut-off percentages for granting admission to students. Hence, one cannot generalize on a single percentage as the minimum percentage required for gaining admission in schools. It should also be known that though the ISEE scores play a very important role in granting admission to students, there are other criteria, such as, the emotional maturity and recommendations that too play a good role in the admission selection of a student.
The ISEE admissions test is one of the most prestigious school admissions tests of USA. Since it is a standardized admissions test, it is the best examination for testing the academic aptitude of students across the world on a common platform.
