How do you start your GMAT registration?

The Graduate Management Admission Test or the GMAT is one of the most worldwide accepted entrance exams for a degree course in MBA. How do you register online?

For online registration for GMAT, you need to make a GMAT account. For taking the GMAT you need to register yourself as a user in the GMAT log-in webpage. Always keep in mind that you need to provide the exact birth date and your exact name in the GMAT account, as they appear in the identification proof that you will provide at the test center. How would you register by phone?

For registering by phone, you need to dial the following numbers which are given according to your location.

  • Americas: For registration within USA and Canada, you can dial the toll free number 1-800-717-GMAT (4628) within 7.00 am and 7.00 pm (central time). An alternative number is 1-952-681-3680 within 7.00 am and 7.00 pm (central time).
  • You need to dial 1-866-442GMAT (4628) for getting registration information for taking the GMAT in Victoria and British Columbia. In Asia Pacific, you can try +603 8318-9961 from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. (AEST).
  • For Europe/Middle East/Africa you should try +44 (0) 161 855 7219 from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm (GMT)

How would you resister through fax and mail?

For registration through fax, you need to complete the GMAT appointment registration form. You need to provide your country code and then fax it to the customer service number based on your location. For America it is 1-952-681-3681, for Asia Pacific it is +603 8319 1092 and for Europe/Middle East/Europe it is +44 (0) 161 855 7301. What are the identification proofs you will need?

At the day of the GMAT test, you need to carry with you the exact identification information that you provided while registration. The test center officials scrutinize your identity thoroughly before letting you in the test center. Passport book, driver’s license issued by the government, Government authorized national/state/province identity card including the European ID card and military card are standard id proofs used for identification. Check the detailed identification requirements before taking the GMAT.

How would you find out the test center and dates for GMAT?

For taking the GMAT you need to know about the test centers available around your location and the available test dates. The GMAT has over 530 test centers spanning over 111 countries. To find the test center you need to first login your GMAT account and then look for the test centers. Provide the zip or the postal codes, country name and address in the specified fields and hit ‘search’. Once you get the list of all test centers, fill in the checkboxes beside them and then hit ‘next’. You will now get the available dates in a calendar beside the test centers for taking the GMAT.
