The GMAT practice questions should be on the following lines. For the GMAT practice questions to be useful you must understand what they should be like.



VERBAL SECTION GMAT PRACTICE QUESTIONS

This section is further divided into three sub sections, the details of which are given below:-

Reading Comprehension

In this section the GMAT practice questions shall contain a comprehension passage followed by multiple choice questions based on the content of the reading passage. You have to read the passage carefully and choose the best answer out of the choices given for each question. The questions have to be answered based on what is implied in the passage. You have to define words and phrases in the context and you may even be asked to give suitable heading for the passage.

Critical Reasoning

GMAT practice questions in this section will be based on a small reading comprehension. You have to choose and support the best suitable statement out of the choices. Before selecting an answer, you must understand and evaluate the structure of an argument. In this sub section, questions are there to test your reasoning ability and critical thinking. The critical reasoning questions are asked to judge the candidate's ability to:-

  • Weaken an argument.
  • Strengthen an argument.
  • Identify the inference.
  • Select the best conclusion

Sentence Correction

GMAT practice questions in this section are designed to test your ability to identify grammatically correct written English. GMAT practice questions will be in the form of sentences parts of which will be underlined. You have to select the part which is grammatically and structurally correct to replace the underlined part of the GMAT practice questions. The correct answer should be grammatically correct, the structure of the sentence should be correct and there should not be any change to the sentence's intended meaning.

Until now you must have realized that GMAT is not an easy exam to attempt. These GMAT practice questions are just to show you the pattern of questions asked. Therefore you should practice solving loads of GMAT practice questions before the GMAT exam.
