While the AFQT scores determine the enlistment of a candidate in the Marine Corps, the line scores are used for evaluating the ability of a candidate to qualify for a job in the US Marine. The following are the details of the line scores of Marine ASVAB test:

  • The line score for Electronics or EL is includes the score of General Science, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge and Electronics Information.
  • Similarly, the line score for General Technician or GT includes Verbal Expressions and Arithmetic Reasoning.
  • For Mechanical Maintenance or MM, the line score includes Mathematics Knowledge, Auto and Shop Information along with Electric Information.
