We recommend "The Real ACT Prep Guide" textbook since it comprises tips, tactics and strategies directly from the test makers. It is very informative and up-to-date. With all in addition, it sets all students to the real test-taking environment since it provides 3 actual test papers and many practical questions. Regrettably, this book has identical mock-up questions and tests, as the "2005 Real ACT Prep Guide". This is rather misleading!

It is a fact, The Real ACT Prep Guide is the sole volume completely written by the examiners. We recommend using this book mainly for its updated practical exercises. Although, the book depicts lots of strategies, we recommend students to look for strategies in another book; since we cannot expect examiners to deliver their deepest-anchored secrets.

With practice tests similar to "The Real ACT" textbook, "Kaplan ACT 2008" gains five stars consideration. This is one of the better books available in the market and it offers a realistic review of the different sections of the test. This volume offers practical test with enormous similarities to the real examination. The book comes with instructions on how to access "Kaplan ACT online resources", which is an extension program to the "Kaplan ACT 2008" book.

As the title implies, this book is meant for busy students having limited time to allot to their studies; however, we would recommend it even though you have gone through hundreds of other books.

This too is a good ACT study guide. This contact management software is well designed, well structured and the information contained flows well. Based on the friendliness of its interface, we would recommend it even for an apprentice. "The ACT 2005" has many new options and bug fixes as compared to the 2000 Edition. The popularity behind this software is that it has been written by a professional ACT consultant and it keeps on ameliorating over time.
